There is a coach company called the Islay Coaches based in Port Askaig which runs 4 services throughout the islay. The service covers most of the island.

There is also a Post Bus service where you can get a ride on the Post Office bus while the postie is delivering mail to the local residents.

There are a few different taxi services available; some even offer guided tours of Islay. They are highly professional and good value for money.
